1. Purpose of This Notice
At GrowMore Recruitment, the safety and wellbeing of candidates is one of our highest priorities. Unfortunately, recruitment scams have become increasingly common across the industry, with fraudsters impersonating legitimate companies and recruiters to obtain money, personal information, or sensitive documents. We want to ensure that every individual who interacts with us can do so confidently and securely.
This notice provides guidance on how to recognise genuine communication from GrowMore, how to identify suspicious activity, and what steps to take if you are unsure about the legitimacy of a message, job offer, or recruiter claiming to represent us.
2. How GrowMore Contacts Candidates
To help you stay safe, here is how we do and do not communicate. GrowMore recruiters may contact you through:
- Emails from the official GrowMore domain: @growmo.re (only addresses using this domain are valid).
- Calls or messages from documented employees listed on our website or LinkedIn page.
- Our official websites:
https://growmo.re,
https://recruitment.growmo.re,
https://outsource.growmo.re,
https://staffcheck.growmo.re,
https://academy.growmo.re,
https://timesheets.growmo.re.
We do not use personal email accounts (such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail) for recruitment activities and we never request payment or bank transfers for job opportunities under any circumstances.
3. Common Signs of Recruitment Scams
Scammers often use tactics designed to pressure or deceive individuals. Beware of communications that include the following.
Requests for Payment – GrowMore will never ask you to pay for job applications, pay for visa, documentation, or processing fees, transfer money to secure a guaranteed interview or job, or purchase equipment or software upfront unless there is an officially signed reimbursement clause in your contract. Any such request for payment is a clear warning sign.
Unusual Email Addresses or Domains – Scam messages may use misspelled or unofficial domains, free email services, or email signatures with incorrect branding or broken links. If the sender’s address does not end in @growmo.re, treat it with caution.
Offers That Feel Too Good To Be True – Be careful with unrealistic salaries, guaranteed roles, or offers made without an interview.
Pressure Tactics – Scammers may urge you to act immediately or threaten withdrawal of an opportunity if you delay. Legitimate GrowMore recruiters will never pressure you or use coercive language.
Requests for Sensitive Information Too Early – Legitimate processes only request documents at appropriate stages, usually once you have been provided with an official job offer and background checks or contract preparation must begin. Be cautious if asked early for passport scans, personal ID numbers, bank account details, proof of address, or driver’s licence.
4. How to Verify Whether a Job or Recruiter Is Genuine
If you receive communication claiming to be from GrowMore Recruitment and are unsure whether it is authentic, take the following steps.
- Check the sender’s email domain: only addresses ending in @growmo.re are valid.
- Search for the recruiter on LinkedIn: GrowMore team members are publicly listed.
- Cross-check the job posting: many roles are advertised on official platforms.
- Contact GrowMore directly: email [email protected] or [email protected] with a screenshot or copy of the message so the team can confirm whether it is legitimate.
Candidates are encouraged to reach out whenever they feel uncertain; verifying authenticity is quick, confidential, and always the safest step.
5. What To Do If You Suspect a Scam
If you believe you have been contacted by someone impersonating GrowMore:
- Do not send any money.
- Do not provide personal or financial information.
- Do not click any suspicious links or attachments.
- Take screenshots of the conversation.
- Forward all details to [email protected] so GrowMore can investigate.
Your vigilance helps protect both you and others.
