Our client is a lean, product-led SaaS company headquartered in the US, with a globally distributed, remote-first engineering team. They specialise in building bespoke legal-tech web and desktop applications for customers requiring transcription services in the US. The team is tight-knit, highly technical, and values ownership and excellence in engineering practices. You’ll join the team as a front-end specialist, taking ownership of our React code-bases while collaborating closely with backend and DevOps engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and ship features in a Vite-powered React application written in TypeScript
• Integrate with two back-ends: a NestJS API and a Next.js (server actions) service
• Drive the migration to Tailwind and modern React patterns
• Own quality – write unit/integration/e2e tests (Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
• Improve DX & CI/CD using GitHub Actions – collaborate on their deployment pipeline
• Work with infra pieces you’ll meet daily: Redis, NATS, Postgres RDS
• Pair-reviews, share knowledge, and influence front end architecture decisions

Essential Requirements:

• 4+ years professional front-end experience, 3+ with React + TypeScript
• Deep knowledge of modern React patterns (hooks, suspense, lazy, state management)
• Production experience with Vite (or Next.js)
• Comfortable consuming REST/GraphQL APis and handling real-time data streams
• Strong testing mindset (have shipped code with meaningful unit and e2e coverage)
• Excellent async communication (able to overlap within 3 hours of UTC+7)

Bonus Points For:

• Have exposure to NestJS or other Node backend frameworks
• Have familiarity with AWS (EKS, S3), Docker/Kubernetes
• Have knowledge of Redis, NATS messaging, or Postgres tuning
• Have experience theming with Tailwind, Storybook, or design systems
• Have an interest in product/design and a knack for UX polish
